Covid -19 Used Car Internet Purchase
For those of you who would prefer to buy a vehicle contactless, over the internet, we have a refund / return policy.
1. If I want to buy the vehicle off the internet, without a test drive - what if I don't like the used car I buy, can I return it?
Yes! Brantford Kia has implemented a 3 day or 100km used car return policy, and a 7 day or 500km exchange policy. You will be refunded the price you paid for the vehicle, less any accessories purchased, delivery costs (if any) and the cost of licensing.
2. What are the limits of the Money Back or Exchange Privilege?
To return a vehicle, you must let us know prior to 5 p.m. EST on the 3rd calendar day after receiving the vehicle. If you would like to exchange your vehicle, you must let us know prior to 5 p.m. EST on the 7th calendar day after receiving your vehicle. We can not accept a return if the car has been modified, in an accident or damaged, altered from the condition it was delivered in or had a lien or other encumbrance (other than financing we provide) on the vehicle. Day 1 of the refund/exchange guarantee begins when you accept the vehicle, regardless of time of day. For example, you take delivery of the vehicle at 6 p.m. on a Thursday (Day 1) you have until 5 p.m. on Saturday (Day 3) to notify us of the intended return.
3. What are the delivery costs?
We typically do not charge for home delivery within the surrounding 200 km radius. If you would like us to pickup the vehicle you intend to return, then we will reduce the refund by the amount of fuel/driver time to pickup the vehicle. If you return the vehicle to us, then there's no reduction.
4. What if I have a trade-in?
If your trade-in is not sold, then we will arrange the vehicle to be returned as part of the refund. Any licensing or safety certification costs that would be necessary or already completed, would be your responsibility.
5. Do New Cars Qualify?
Unfortunately, at this time new cars do not qualify. When a new vehicle is titled to an individual, it officially becomes a used car, even if it only has 100km on it.
